Hoang Truong

Scientist-Educator

Interests: Embedded Sensing Systems & Wearable Sensors.

Welcome! I'm Hoang. I have 10+ years of experience in teaching, research, and developing embedded systems and wearable sensing systems, focusing on interdisciplinary research, system design, hardware & software development, machine learning, sensor fusion, and data science.

As a scientist, I am building great things on fiber-optic sensors at Organic Robotics. As an educator, I am bringing my interdisciplinary views to inspire and motivate students in Applied Computer Science Program at the University of Colorado Boulder.

I finished my PhD in Computer Science at University of Colorado Boulder, under the advising of Nikolaus Correll and Jacob Segil. Previously, I earned M.S. in Computer Science and B.S. (with Cum Laude) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from KAIST, South Korea.
