Welcome! I'm Hoang, a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science, University of Colorado Boulder. I have also taught CU Boulder CS courses as both instructor and teaching assistant for 5 years.

During my Ph.D., I am delighted to be the recipient of CACM Research Highlight 2020, Ralph J. Slutz Student Excellence Award 2019, ACM SIGMOBILE Research Highlights (2017 & 2020), Best Paper Awards at ACM MobiCom 2019 & ACM MobiCom-S3 2017, Best Paper Runner up Award at ACM SenSys (2018), and Best Paper Nominee at ACM SenSys (2017).

Previously, I earned M.S. in Computer Science and B.S. (with Cum Laude) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from KAIST, South Korea, in 2014 and 2012 respectively. I was a software engineer and Android junior team mentor/manager at HUMAX Digital from 2015 to 2017.
